Diamond District - In the Ruff Instrumentals...

Instrumental version of my favorite hip-hop album right now dropped today. Diamond District hails from the D.C. area, with one of my favorite beatsmith's, Oddisee, at the helm. Support good indie music yo, and if you need mixtape beats you can't go wrong with this one.

My man J Griff from Chi-town....

Just watch and listen... great stuff...

Working on some projects...

Just wanted to give a small update on what's going on in my life as far as projects right now. I am currently working hard on a collab project with my man Kaboose from the mid-west. It's going to have some "traditional" boom-bap / soul, but we are also looking to step out with some hip-hop electronica too. I'm also working on my 2nd instrumental project. It's definitely going to have a more electronica feel, with many varieties in melodies and tempos. I'm in a great place right now... coming from a transition of mediocrity and stepping into hopefully what will be music for people to have forever. There will be some new music up by the end of this week, so stay tuned..

That good hip-hop...

I'm like half sleep this morning after being up til 6 this morning, and having to get up with my daughter (at 7:30 smh...). I figured I could put on some mellow goodness to help me get into the day musically. Been listening to Median all morning, this dudes album (Median's Relief) is slept on hard. It's one of my favorite albums man, just good vibes from this cat.

Dert's EP - CMYK

I've literally been sitting here customizing my Mac to the way my old one ran (reloading apps and whatnot), Logic literally took like a whole 5 hours to load again smh... anyways, I'm really glad I have some good music to listen to. I've been bumping Dert's EP called CMYK for like 3 hours straight. It's a beautiful blend of hip-hop electronica done the right way. If you get a minute, go over to i-tunes and cop it, it's only like 5 bucks. In the meantime you can listen to "Like Heaven"..
