At an interesting place in life...

I'm 29 years old. I don't have a normal gig. I'm either slagnin' beats, or working on some video production on the freelance tip. I used to work for a Medicare place, but I ran into some issues and had to dip. I love to make music, but the people who I make it for seem to be stuck in 4 years ago constantly, and don't seem to embrace originality. On top of that, the support financially isn't there unless you roll with certain crews, which is cool. I'm coming up on 4 years of marriage, and I literally haven't gotten us anywhere. There are many frustrated days, but mostly I've learned to roll with the punches. This coming year I will be finishing school finally, getting my degree in network systems administration, which will hopefully lead to a gig as a network systems engineer in the next few years. But this time in between has been rough. I feel like I'm "can'tgetright", everything I've put my all into the last 5 years has come up null. But I believe things are on the come up, even though I'm scraping my knees all the way through. Gotta stay strong, keep pressing, remain faithful, and look to Him for peace....

Been Sick...

I was sick for like 4 days...not cool. I get sinus infections like the sun comes up everyday, so it was no surprise that I got one this week. But yeah, I will definitely have some new music up within the next week.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 released at midnight...

One of the most anticipated games in history is dropping tonight, COD Modern Warfare 2. In case you don't have a 360 or a PS3, Modern Warfare 1 was straight CRACK. First person shooter, with smooth online multiplayer modes. The original came out like 2 years ago and I still play it every week. A couple of my friends had connects and got it early last week (jerks LOL), but I'm looking forward to playing this tonight yo. If you wanna get at me on 360 my tag name is wesp728. Catch you suckas on the other side of the scope LOL...

Working on some projects...

Just wanted to give a small update on what's going on in my life as far as projects right now. I am currently working hard on a collab project with my man Kaboose from the mid-west. It's going to have some "traditional" boom-bap / soul, but we are also looking to step out with some hip-hop electronica too. I'm also working on my 2nd instrumental project. It's definitely going to have a more electronica feel, with many varieties in melodies and tempos. I'm in a great place right now... coming from a transition of mediocrity and stepping into hopefully what will be music for people to have forever. There will be some new music up by the end of this week, so stay tuned..
